GI Formula
This product is the pellet with the addition of an ingredient, called MOS, to assist with gastro-intestinal health. MOS stands for Mannan-Oligosaccharides. How does MOS help? MOS assists with clearing harmful pathogens from the digestive system.
Low Selenium
For areas of the country with moderate soil selenium levels.
No Selenium GI
For areas of the country with high soil selenium levels. All No Selenium pellets now include MOS. Order the GI No Selenium Pellets

Description
Feed at the rate of 6 oz–3 scoops–per 1000 pound horse. 20 pounds will last one ~1000 pound horse approximately 50 days. 2 oz scoop included.
No added iron, sugar, corn, or artificial ingredients.

Can KIS trace mineral pellets be fed alone? Should it be paired with alfalfa pellets?
Hi Allyson, Some horses have been known to eat the pellet version by itself but that is the exception not the rule. Mixing either version with hay pellets or alfalfa pellets is a good idea.

Which one for south central TN (right where TN/AL/MS come together)?
Hi Sarah, go with the low selenium version for now. If you find out your horse tests low Se then we would go to the original version. The area you mention will be variable levels but some will be present in the soil.

what sugar content in supplement? KWPN in Northern California with insulin resistamce Hot and dry conditions. Already on vitamin, mineral supplement

Which one for wisconsin?
Hi Cristie, Any K.I.S.Trace version with selenium will work for Wisconsin. But if you live in the far west side of Wisconsin you might do well with our K.I.S.Trace Low Selenium version.

This is the only palatable vitamin/mineral pellet with low/no selenium that I can find.
